Capt. Sheriff and 2 clients fished Block Island Monday evening for Striped Bass. 22 keeper size bass were caught up to 38 inches. Clients enjoyed catching the bass on a variety of techniques and baits including Parachute jigs then switching to topwater and metal lures imitating sand eels. Action was hot and sea conditions were great with 1 foot or less waves. Bass action had been very slow previously and this is a very encouraging pattern
